I find beauty in the exactitude and precision of mathematical and scientific systems, and in the subtlety that arises from such specificity. I am interested in the interplay between the spontaneous and the deliberate, and in the places where art and design overlap. As a printmaker, I am drawn to process and play. As a designer, I seek systems and structure. My design background provides constraints within which I can explore ideas. I thrive on this restraint, but I am compelled to push the limits of it. I find gratification in a solved problem, and beauty in its pursuit.
